How do you research the smell of the past?

The guest in this talk with FAU President Hornegger combines two subject areas that at first glance don’t quite go together, namely art history and artificial intelligence, and thus explores, for example, how the world smelled four hundred years ago: Prof. Dr. Peter Bell, FAU Professor of Digital Humanities with a focus on art history.
